Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all sales via our website and form the basis of the contract between you and The Cycle Room. This does not affect your statutory rights.

All orders for goods shall be deemed to be an offer by you to purchase goods from The Cycle Room, and acceptance of these goods will be taken as your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Pricing & Availability:
All prices on the website are inclusive of VAT at the current UK rate. Payment is made via our secure checkout process when the order for the goods is placed. Whilst every effort is made to ensure that the details and prices of all items for sale on the website are accurate, some errors may occur from time to time. In the event that orders are placed based on incorrect information (i.e. price) The Cycle Room reserves the right not to fulfil such orders and will ensure you receive a full refund promptly if you do not wish to proceed once the error is corrected.

On the rare occasions there are delays in fulfilling your order The Cycle Room will keep you regularly updated. If you have not received or been able to collect your goods after 30 days and you wish to cancel your order, you will be entitled to a full refund.

Collection of Goods:
The quantity and description of the goods will be as set out on the confirmation of order from The Cycle Room.  “Click and Collect” orders will be picked up from the store at 39-41 East Street, Horsham, West Sussex RH13 0RX.  The Cycle Room confirms its responsibility to ensure your goods correspond to the details you received in your order confirmation.

Acceptance of Goods:
You will become responsible for the goods once payment has been received and you have received or collected them. You will be deemed to have accepted the goods 14 days after delivery or collection from the store. During these 14 days you will need to carry out a thorough inspection of the goods and must notify The Cycle Room in writing of any defects in the goods that a reasonable examination would have revealed.

After this 14 day period, and all other aspects of the contract have been adhered to, you will not be able to reject the goods.

Cancellations:
Except for customised products, you are able to cancel your order prior to collection from the store under the terms of The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. If you do so, it must be within 8 days of placing the order. Please note that if you do cancel you may, in some circumstances, be liable for any costs incurred by The Cycle Room in returning the item to our supplier.

Returns:
At The Cycle Room we want you to be completely happy with your purchase. With the exception of customised products, if for any reason you are not 100% satisfied, simply bring the items back into store “as new” in the original packaging together with your original receipt. The return needs to be done within 21 days of the purchase and The Cycle Room will either exchange the item or give you a full refund.

Refunds will be processed using the same method of payment (i.e. the same credit or debit card) used for the original purchase. Cheque payments will be refunded in cash but due to banking restrictions can only be refunded at least 14 days after the original purchase date. Due to the high incidence of fraud we regret that we are unable to offer any refund without a valid receipt.

All goods sold at The Cycle Room are covered by normal warranty. Although in most cases the warranty is provided by the manufacturer, any warranty claim needs to come through The Cycle Room. If you feel that you have an item which is faulty, please return it to us with your original proof of purchase. If it’s found to be a fault under warranty, it will be repaired or replaced free of charge. However, if the item is found not to have a genuine fault covered by warranty we will still do our best to assist you. Please note that we cannot refund any postage and packaging costs you incur in sending any items back to The Cycle Room and that you will also be charged postage on any replacement items we send out to you where the original mistake was not ours.
